The Centre for Technology Development and Transfer was established at Anna University in Aug.2006 as a Single Window for Partnership with Industries for Research & Development and Consultancy. It channelises the facilities and capabilities available at the University and can play a vital role in bringing together people from Industry and the Academia. It has initiated activities with the following objectives and services in mind:

Objectives:

  • Compile and disseminate scientific and technical information
  • Organize Industry-Institute meets to identify the needs of the industry and R&D establishments
  • Facilitate joint collaborative research programmes both with National and International Agencies
  • Provide support services for research management

Services:

  • Testing and analysis of products
  • Design and analysis of instruments and equipment
  • Development of technologies and software
  • Helping governments both at the State and National level in their socioeconomic and technology developmental programmes
  • Processing of project proposals, maintenance of accounts and enabling the procurement of equipment.
